About the Carolina Heat
The Carolina Heat is a post collegiate women's lacrosse team based out of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, North Carolina. After years of trying to get a women's post collegiate lacrosse team started in the Triangle, the Carolina Heat was officially established in 2006. We welcome and encourage college students and rising college freshmen to come out and play with us during the summer season. College students and rising college freshmen are also welcome to join us during the spring and fall seasons, as well.
During the summer 2009 season, we will be practicing at the Preston Soccer Fields (click here for directions to "B") in Cary on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Preston Soccer Fields are across from the Preston golf course on High House Road.
We are a fun group of women, with a variety of skill levels, who love to play lacrosse. We are always looking for new team members, even if you have never played lacrosse before.

The Carolina Heat has three seasons - spring, summer, and fall. Our 2009 season dates are:
Spring 2009: February 15th - May 31st
Summer 2009: June 7th - August 9th
Fall 2009: August 16th - November 8th
